High Club News and Results
It is time for the 2010-2011 Junior High
Wrestling Season!
Have you ever thought about wrestling?
If so you are not alone. Many pro athletes were on
wrestling team when they were your age. Even Bengal Coach
Marvin Lewis wrestled in high school. Wrestling is great
for everyone. Whether you are big or small, short or tall,
boy or girl, you can benefit from wrestling. We focus on
strength training and cardio. It is a great way to stay in
shape especially if you played football this fall. If you
are interested in wrestling for the Western Hills
Wrestling Club, click
here to download a sign up sheet and information flyer
today. The first practice is on Thursday November 4th
at Western Hills High School in the Wrestling Mat Room. We
hope to see you there.
Why?
- Through wrestling, kids
develop strength, balance, flexibility, endurance and
most importantly, confidence in their abilities. These
attributes are the basis of all competitive sports.
Exposure to wrestling will help your child excel in
other sports such as football, soccer, track and much
more.
Where?
- Western Hill High
School Wrestling Room. Pull in to the school parking
lot and follow the signs.
When?
- Practice starts at
3:30pm on Thursday November 4th. After the first
practice, the team will meet every Tuesday and Thursday
beginning at 3:30 pm and ending at 5:30 pm. The
season will runs until the beginning of February.
How much?
- The fee for the entire
season is $35 dollars.
